Last Friday Kyle was recognized at the Mesa Police Departments Annual Award Banquet. Kyle was awarded the Medal of Distinction for his efforts in saving a woman who had been shot. The Banquet was really nice, the guest speaker was Neil Rackers the kicker for the Cardinals and Steve Irvin from ABC News 15 was the Master of Ceremony and did an amazing job reading all the different stories. Kyle received a plaque and a ribbon for his uniform as well as a medal. I will post a picture of Kyle in his dress uniform with his new ribbon and his medal on soon.
